A celebration of the Hedgerows of the Yorkshire Wolds.

CPRE East Yorkshire held another very successful Photography Awards event at The Gallery, Bridlington Spa on the 26th of October to announce the results of their amateur photography competition.

Once again the photographs were a stunning portrayal of the unique environment of the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds.

Second prize winner Thelma Burrus with her photograph taken at Fordon, East Yorkshire.

Among the guests at this year's event were the Mayor and Mayoress of Bridlington, guests from the Bridlington Civic Society and CPRE members.

CPRE East Yorkshire Branch Chairman Chris Lefevre opened the event and we were very pleased to welcome Christine Drury, Deputy Chair from CPRE National Office who presented the prizes. Each of the winners spoke a few words about how and where they took the photographs.
